Funeral services for James H. Borge of Albert Lea, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at Grace Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Interment will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood, Iowa.
Jim died on Tuesday evening, April 20, 1999, at the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea. He was 81.
He was born on May 25, 1917, in Milroy, Minnesota, the son of Sigurd and Agatha (Cleveland) Borge. He married Bernice V. Berg on April 17, 1948 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin.
He had worked in auto body repair. In 1957, they moved to Seattle, Washington. In the early '90's they returned to Albert Lea.
He is survived by his wife Bernice; daughter-in-law Beverly Kentner of Minneapolis; grandchildren Steven James Kentner and Kathy Kentner Fredrickson (Kris) all of Minneapolis.
