Beatrice "Suzie" Ellis, 65, of 2116 N. North St. died Monday, March 20, 1995, at her residence, where she had lived with her brother-in-law for 29 years.
Born May 1, 1929, in Tuckerman, Ark., to John and Mottie Mabe Gill, she married Ora Lee Ellis in 1951 in Thayer, Mo. He died in 1963 in Hardy, Ark. She also was preceded in death by three brothers.
Surviving are four sons, Jimmy Ellis of Bellevue, Danny Ellis of Arkansas, Carl Slater of Bartonville and Bill Cecil of Florida; two daughters, Mary Arrendale of Texas and Racheal Congdon of West Beloit, Wis.; one brother, Donald Ray Crouch of Perkins, Okla.; and one stepbrother, R.C. Crouch of Baxter Springs, Kan.
She was a building manager for the Heim Apartments for 17 years.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
