Obituary (Moberly (MO) Monitor-Index, July 23, 1956)- Madison- Orville, Palliser, 65, was found dead about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home in Madison where he had lived alone for the past year. Mrs. Iva Moore, a niece of Mr. Palliser, discovered her uncle's death when she went to his home on a visit. Mr. Palliser had been in ill health for some time. Born in Monroe county April 22, 1891, Mr. Palliser was employed by the Wabash Railroad for many years. Surviving are two sons, Orville and Ezry Lynn Palliser, both of Moberly; two daughters, Mrs. John Laytham, Route 3, Moberly, and Mrs. Ruth Ives of Wisconsin, two brothers, Charles Palliser of Shelbina and George Palliser of Moberly; a sister, Mrs. Pierre Canady of Holliday; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Thompson Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon by the Rev. Roy Helfner, Baptist minister. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery, north of Madison.
