MRS. PATSY G. CANADAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Gertrude Canaday, 78, formerly of Holliday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Davis Funeral Home at Shelbina, with burial at the Shelbina Cemetery.
Mrs. Canaday died at 9:20 a.m. Saturday at the Maple Lawn Lodge at Moberly, where she had lived for the past two and one-half years.
She was born Feb. 3, 1894, at Holliday, the daughter of Tom Palliser and Sarah Margaret Ferguson Palliser.
She lived most of her life in the Holliday community, and was married to Pierre Canaday, who preceded her in death in 1960.
She was a member of the Maud Christian Church at Maud.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jewel Cadwell, of Shelbina; three sons, Leonard Canaday, of Holliday; Orville Canaday, of Clarence; and Leroy Canaday, of Moberly. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
