Black River, April 29. Mary C., wife of John W. Marcellus, died in the state hospital at Ogdensburg Tuesday , aged 71 years. She was born in Oxbow, the daughter of Samuel and Caroline Gillett. She was married to Mr. Marcellus, Mar 14, 1886, and lived in St. Lawrence and Jefferson counties practically all her life. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Prinder of Waukeslhaw, Wis., and Mrs. Louise Middletown, Merrill, Wis., and one brother, John Gillett, and a stepson , W.H. Marcellus.
