Roy Able Bishop, age 77 of Lewisburg, died Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Maury Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Bishop was a native of Ricetown, Kentucky and son of the late Leonard Bishop and Lydia Reed Bishop Howard. He was the Plant Manager for Burner Systems.

Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Herrington Bishop in 2011, he is survived by two sons, Daniel Wayne Bishop of South Berlin, and Joey Dale Bishop of Lewisburg, three daughters, Vickie Layne Simpson of Pinson, Tennessee, Jennifer Delane Wiggins of Chesnut Mound, Tennessee, Mary Angela Swearengin of Knoxville, two brothers, Ben Bishop of Lebanon, Ohio and Carl Bishop of Morrow, Ohio, sister, Maggie Couch of Batavia, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.

The family will be at London Funeral Home Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
