A yardman for private families, he was living at 619 Peabody Street, Nashville. Walker was 60 years old and the wife of Odessa ( -- ) Beasley (who was about 35 years old) when he died of acute endocarditis on August 25, 1943 at home. Burial was five days later in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashville.
