Lilly (Nannie) Waldron, 73, of Deerfoot Lane, Lerona, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at her residence. Born May 17, 1941, in Jolo, WV she was the daughter of the late Hurley (Nick) and Gladys Hagerman Shelton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lilly was successful in raising her children and working side by side with her husband Harold as they ran their small businesses in McDowell and Mercer counties. She enjoyed being a home- maker, going to yard sales and watching NASCAR and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harold Waldron, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory, her three devoted and loving children, Sandra and her husband Henry (Squeaky) Stacy of Jolo, WV, Pamela and her husband Randy Mullins of Lerona, WV & Harold and wife Rita Waldron of Lerona, WV. Five grandchildren, Heather Waldron , Tasha Mullins & BreAnne Mullins all of Lerona, WV, Sheena & her husband Martin Chadwell of Milton, WV, Danielle & her husband J.J. Keen of Jolo, WV. Great-grandchildren, Katelyn Waldron, Braydon Mullins, Kyra Keen, Kayleigh Keen, Nathan Waldron, Alyssa Chadwell and future Baby Keen. Siblings, Adam Shelton and his wife Phyllis of Rose City, MI, David Shelton and his wife Cheryl of Hale, MI, Sue Honaker of Pounding Mill, VA, Patrick (Shotgun) Shelton and his companion Sharon of Jolo, WV & Clifford (Skip) Shelton and his wife Sandy of Jolo, WV. Special friends, Winfred & Tonya Shrewsbury & Legrethel Scyphers & Brenda Watkins. We will celebrate the life of Lilly (Nannie) Waldron on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Hobert Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The Waldron family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
