Elizabeth is the third of six children of Calvin & Phebe Selden.
Married first on Oct 13, 1818, Joseph Spencer, Yale graduate of 1811. He became a State Senator, passed in Albany, NY, 1823.

After Joseph passed, she married Amos Beebe Eaton.
