Obituary of Suzanne "Sue" Newton Gill

Gulfport, MS ~ Suzanne "Sue" Newton Gill, age 93, of Gulfport died Monday, August 25, 2015 in Gulfport.

She was born in Rockford, IL and had been a resident of Gulfport for most of her life. She was a member of St. Peters by the Sea Episcopal Church. She was an avid reader and her hobbies included sewing and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Gill; her parents, Cherubusco and Susan Howard Newton; and a brother, Alan Douglas Newton.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Conn, Betty Shultz, and Colleen Palmer; a son, Douglas Gill; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great great-granddaughter.

The funeral service is Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
