Alice was the daughter of James Thomas and Gennie Thomas. She employed with Bibb Textile Company until her retirement. She was a member of Nero Baptist Church in Hurtsboro, Alabama where she served on the Usher Board.

Survivors:
Husband: Willie C. Cobb.
2 Daughters: LaVonna Sumbry(Frederick) and Debra Jones(Elliott).
1 Son: Tommy Banks(Michelle).
8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 1PM in the Sanctuary of Nero Baptist Church in Hurtsboro, Alabama with Rev Lillie Smith Officiating.
