He owned and operated Madera Glass and Body Shop from 1947 to 1982. Nick was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, the Y.M.I. and was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps.
Nick was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, daughter Cheryl Hillman and son Ron Cappelluti.
He is survived by his son Mike Cappelluti and wife Deborah of Madera, CA and daughter-in-law: Rebecca Cappelluti of Bass Lake, CA. Nick was the grandfather to Jake & Erin Cappelluti, Doug Hillman, Donna Hernandez and Deanna Stay and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera. Recitation of the Rosary was held Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
