Funeral services for Miguel Tijerina, 75, of 1923 Gardenia Courts, will be held at 3 p.m. today from the Gonzalez Funeral Chapel to Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Tijerina died at 1 a.m. yesterday in a local hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Faustina Tijerina; one son, Jesus Tijerina, Beeville; one daughter, Mrs. Maria T. Gomez, Corpus Christi; four brothers, Juan Tijerina, McAllen , Luis, Richmond, Texas, German, Sinton, and Pedro Tijerina, Brady; and five grandsons.
