Frank Cole, 72, died Wednesday in University Hospitals at Iowa City following a sudden illness. He was a welder at Frank's Foundry, Davenport before retiring.
Surviving is his wife, Maxine, 3 daughter, 4 sons, a stepdaughter, and two stepsons; three sisters, Mabel Dettbarn of Guttenburg, Hazel Horstman of Greeley and Edith Smith of Cedar Rapids; 24 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Services 1 p.m. Saturday, United Methodist Church. The body will be cremated; burial at a later date.
