Mrs. Fick was born Oct. 16, 1891, at Vienna, Austria, and had been a resident of Durant since she was 19 years old. Her parents were John and Marie Stpka Resnick.
She was married to Christ Fick Oct. 11, 1916, at Zion Lutheran church in Muscatine.
She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran church at Durant.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Henry C. Fick, Stockton; two daughters, Mrs. George Tevis, Tipton, and Mrs. LaVerne Workman, Stockton; four brothers, Joe, Frank and Ludwig Resnick, Muscatine, and Carl Resnick, Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wetendorf, Muscatine and Mrs. John Jorgesen, Davenport,
and five grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
