Barbara M. Clendenen, 71, of 2190 Elm St., Kieler, Wis., formerly of Dubuque, died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, Ill., where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque.
She was born on June 17, 1934, in Dubuque, daughter of Joseph and Ethel (Davis) Puccio. She married Marvyn E. Clendenen on April 26, 1958, in Dubuque; he preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1996.
She enjoyed bingo, keno, reading and playing cards.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and was very caring to others. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Kathy (Todd) Maiden, of Dubuque, Marv (Ann) Clendenen and Stacy (Daniel) Doyle, both of Hazel Green, Wis., Susie (Mike) Crenshaw, of East Dubuque, and Darren (Becky) Clendenen and Russell Clendenen, both of Kieler; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, Joseph (friend, Shirley) Puccio, of Galena, John "Sonny" (Mary) Puccio, Tom (Veronica) Puccio, Don Puccio, Rod (Cindy) Carr and Allan Carr, all of Dubuque, and Shirley Wiegman, of Hazel Green.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lynn Blackburn; and three brothers, Ronnie, Sam and Billy Puccio.
