Mr. Timmerman was born at Minonk on Dec. 4. 1903, a son of John B. and Elizabeth Mairth Timmerman, and spent his entire life in this community.
He was united in marriage with Julia Janssen, at Clinton, on Oct. 3. 1933.
He was engaged in farming, and in recent years he was employed by the city of Minonk, in charge of the city's new sewer plant. He was also the janitor for Minonk Presbyterian church.
Surviving are his widow; two sons: five daughters; three grandchildren; a brother; and two sisters.
