Hazel (Deaton) Plowman Trimble
Hazel Trimble, 78, Todd Road, Nancy community, died Saturday, August 23, at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland following a short illness.
She was born in Hazard on November 24, 1908, the daughter of the late Alex and Lutshia Harold Deaton. She was a homemaker and attended the Church of God, Nancy.
She is survived by her husband, Laco Trimble, whom she married in Science Hill in 1961; four sons, Mitchell Plowman, Science Hill, Clay Plowman, Bardstown, Sewell Clyde Plowman, San Bernadino, California, and Ralph Plowman, Napoleon, Indiana; a daughter, Lena Couch, Alexandria; seven stepchildren, June Leece, Quincey, Ohio, James Trimble, Somerset, Dewayne Trimble, Orlando, Florida, Hylia Davis, Clinton, Tennessee, Shirl Trimble, Piqua, Ohio, Ruie Henderson, Danville, and Luid Trimble, Nancy; three brothers, Estill, Chester, and Luther Deaton, all of Austin, Indiana; two sisters, Elvira Richey, Hazard and Orelene Camack, Austin, Indiana; and 42 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a former husband, Depew Plowman; four children, Norma Jean and Jessie Plowman, and Sallie Lou Kitchman, and stepson, Murrell Trimble; and a sister, Mable Thompson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Revs. Junior Harris and Ray Soward officiating.
Burial will be in Whitis Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
