A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Union Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove.
A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Asbill was born October 12, 1945. She was the daughter of Conie Mae Boone McNeill and the late Arlie Forrest McNeill.
She retired from White Oak Family Physicians as an office Manager and then worked at Wescare Christian Academy in Troy.
Mrs. Asbill, in addition to her mother, is survived by her husband, Harold S. Asbill, of the home; daughters, Stacy Asbill McDowell and husband, Bryan, of Seagrove, Melissa Asbill Skoglund and husband, Jamie, of Asheboro; brother, Arlie Moxton “Mac” McNeill and wife, Sheila, of Brunswick, GA; grandchildren, Hillary McDowell, of Asheboro, Emily Skoglund, of Asheboro; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
