Mrs. Ada Lynn Doty

Mrs. Ada Lynn Doty, 98, of 315 Keeling Ave., Derry, died Sunday in Edgewood Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 31, 1876, in Millwood, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Householder Lynn. She was preceded in death by a son, McQuaide, in 1903 and her husband, Robert M., in 1934.

She was the eldest member of the Derry Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Derry Golden Age Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Hammer of Derry and Mrs. Martha Lightcap of Greensburg (High Acres); four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Clayton E. Linsley Funeral Home, 310 South Chestnut St., Derry, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday beginning at 2 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Peter S. Wendell officiating.

Interment will follow at Coles Cemetery in Derry.

Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Derry Presbyterian Church.
