JUNCTION CITY — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Junction City for Sarajean "Sara" Brownell-Abel of Junction City, who died July 15 of pancreatic cancer.
She was 66.
She was born Aug. 6, 1943, in Baker City to Edmund and Jean Taylor Brownell.
She worked as a nurse for 15 years and as a bookkeeper at Barncraft for 20 years.
Survivors include a son, Timothy Stevens of Junction City; two daughters, Leona Houston of Junction City and Laura Stevens of Eugene; three sisters, Patricia Kingman of Wilsonville, Beverly Van Steinburg of Yuba City, Calif., and Nancy Bradetich of Newberg; a brother, Robert Brownell of Newberg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. Remembrances to American Cancer Society or Relay for Life.
