Gail Burger Burnett
Funeral will be at 1 P.M. Thursday, September 11th, 2014, at Crestwood Funeral Home for Gail Burger Burnett, age 69, of Gadsden, who died Monday, September 8th, 2014. Bro. James O. Wallace will officiate. Burial at Fairview Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
She was a lifelong resident of Gadsden, AL. She graduated from Etowah High School in 1963. She went on to receive a paralegal degree from Ashworth University. She worked in the legal field for over 40 years, and her specialty and passion was helping disabled citizens get their Social Security benefits. She was a member at Higher Ground Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Burnett; parents, D.C. and Mildred Wagnon Burger; sisters, Jane Fambrough and Sue Sewell; brothers-in-law, Ralph Sewell and Red Yates; and sister-in-law, Jean Burger.
She is survived by her siblings Ann (Frank) Stanfield, Sarah (Kenny) Kramer, Cornelia (Charles) Littlejohn, Jerry Burger, Dewey (Toni) Burger, Stella Yates, her furry friend, Rufus, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be from 12-1 P.M. prior to the service.
