LOWVILLE Nov. 1 - Jessie Irons, an aged resident of Lyons Falls, died at his home in that place Saturday evening as the result of an error in taking a bottle of dye stuff for a
bottle of cough medicine. Irons had been suffering for some time from a sever cold, and was taking medicine for it. A day or two ago his wife took the medicine to the cellar and left it there. Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock the aged man went to the cellar and grabbed a bottle containing coloring fluid, which he drank instead of medicine. Within a short time he began to suffer intensely and died about 6:30 o'clock, before medical aid could be procured, Mr. Irons had lived for many years in the vicinity of Lyons Falls, formerly on a farm and of late in the village. He was well known and highly respected throughout the surrounding country. He leaves a widow and an adopted daughter.
