Services for Ruby L. Bennett Riley, 92, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Jim Gillum officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 12, 1912, in Stamford, Texas to the late Sydney C. and Ettie B. Horn Bennett, she died April 26, 2004, in Madill.
She moved to Reck as a child and graduated from Zaneis High School in 1930. She and Arthur Ray "Red" Riley were married on Jan. 8, 1941, in Ringling, and lived in Reck until 1946 when they moved to Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 16, 1991; a daughter, Lorita "Leta" Sullivan on July 4, 1992; and brother, Edgar Bennett.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Daniel, Kingston; son, Kenneth Moorhead, Sherman, Texas; three sisters, Ruth Vaughan, Wilson, Alma Keltner, Little City, and Florence Barker, Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Euell R. Keltner, grandsons Brent, Bart and Brannon Daniel, Scott and Brad Sullivan. Honorary bearers are Bill Phillips and Bob Brown.
