Annie Meehan, daughter of Patrick Meehan and Mary Monaghan, was a native of Ireland. She married William Faherty and settled with her husband in Philadelphia. Annie was widowed in 1888. She was the mother of eight children, four of whom survived to 1900. Annie died at the age of 70 and was interred in the Old Cathedral Cemetery on 26 Jan 1921. The informant on her death certificate was Mrs James Torpey, her daughter Hannah.
