The inscription reads:

Here lieth the body of
Richard Awbrey of LlanEllyw, Gent.
who maried Anne daughter to
William Vaughan of Llanelieu;
they had issue, William,
Richard, Thomas,
John, Theophilus
and Elizabeth. He died 29th
September 1645.

The arms – Awbrey impaling Vaughan of Tyleglas.
