Bartholomew Moriarty of 1 Jackson sq. died at a local hospital Thursday after a brief illness. He was born in Droum, Glenbeigh, County Kerry, Ireland, May 26, 1893, son of the late Bartholomew and Nora (Sughrue) Moriarty. A resident of this city for 35 years, he was employed by the Pennichuck Water Works for the past 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's church. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Nora Riordan and Miss Nellie Moriarty, four brothers James J. Moriarty, Patrick J. Moriarty, Mortimer Moriarty, all of Nashua and John B. Moriarty, in Ireland; and several cousins. A sister, Miss Mary Moriarty, died Aug. 29, 1956.
