Devil was a miniature Dachshund. He was named after the "Devil Dogs" or "Teufel Hunden" of the United States Marine Corps. He became a member of the Weber family while I was on a visit to Camp Lejeune North Carolina to visit my son, a United States Marine. He was a very good dog. Loved playing with the only toy he ever had from a puppy and that was a stuffed pink pig from Petsmart. He spent the days romping and playing with his little half brother Bubba who arrived in late 2004. He became ill and to the point where he was suffering and in constant pain. He is now in heaven with St. Francis of Assisi. He is still loved and remembered by those of us left here remembering him & missing him.
Rest easy my friend. No more thunderstorms or fireworks to scare you. Just endless playing & relaxing in a perfect and pain free body. Bubba keeps looking for you but he doesn't understand why you're not there or why the house seems so empty. You are so missed my friend but of course you know that already.
