"Phyllis M. White, 81, Carthage, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013, in Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
Phyllis Marie Munsterman was born October 24, 1932, in Florence, MO, the daughter of the late William F. Munsterman and Hazel Marie (Birch) Munsterman. She was a high school graduate of the Sunnydale Academy, Centralia, MO. She married Aaron White on November 14, 1989; he survives. She worked as a bank teller for the First National Bank, Belleville, Illinois and later was a homemaker. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, Joplin, MO. She and her husband came to Carthage in 1990.
Additional survivors include a son, Stephen Feldt of Westerville, Ohio; two step-sons, Daniel White of Phoenix, AZ and David White of Portland, Oregon; a step-daughter, Carolyn Otts and husband, Bob, of Roseburg, Oregon; a sister, LaVerne Starbuck of McKinney, TX; four brothers, Melvin Munsterman and wife, Linda, of Grand Prairie, TX, Bill Munsterman and wife, Jan, of Kingsville, MO, Cleo Munsterman and wife, Sharon, of Linneaus, MO, Darrell Munsterman of Versailles, MO; three grandchildren, one great grandchild and three step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 14, in the Knell Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in Fasken Cemetery, Carthage."
