Delano (Dell) Hunsaker, age 81, went to sleep with his family by his side on Friday afternoon, September 19, 2014.
He was born March 4, 1935 to T. Earl and Laura H. Hunsaker as, his namesake, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was being inaugurated the 32nd President of the United States.

He was the fifth of sox children. He attended Logan City schools and served in the Army during the Korean War.

He married Marion Gibbons on August 12, 1955. They are the parents of 8 children, 24 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He worked for 30 years as a painter in the Maintenance Department at USU.

He was a member of the LDS Church, residing in the Logan 14th Ward for over 50 years. He had many opportunities to serve, enjoying his experiences with scouting and the youth especially. He served a mission with his wife Marion in Tuba City, Arizona. He enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing but his greatest love was his family.
Dell is survived by his wife and children.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, sister Merle Williams, brother Thomas Earl Hunsaker and son Douglas Earl Hunsaker.
