Twice elected to serve on the service managers advisory council of the Ford Motor Company, representing the Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers in the Western United States, Clark was also elected twice as president of the Los Angeles Service Managers Association, president of the Salt Lake Executive Association and president of the Utah Auto Body Association. He owned and operated Rick Warner Body Shop in Salt Lake City for 15 years. His leadership abilities were exhibited in the LDS Church when he served twice as first counselor in the Bishopric and president of the Young Men's.
Family members include his children: Sheila (Lary) Grubbs and Stanley Muir; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Don (Jean) Muir; sisters, Louise (Jay) Andersen and Joyce (Gene) Whitsel. His daughter, Jan Marie Scholtz, predeceased Clark.
