Sally Pankey, 61, Lakeview Point, Lancaster, died at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Ella Mae Simpson Harris. She was a graduate of the Durham School of Beauty in Danville and served as a beautician for 43 years. She was associated with Pelo, Pelo, Pelo Beauty Salon of Danville. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church.

She loved to bowl, had participated in numerous national bowling tournaments and had served as secretary of the Tuesday Morning Coffee League.

Survivors include: Her husband, Alford Kyle Pankey, Lancaster; one son: Travis Kyle (Jamie) Pankey, Lancaster; three sisters: Eva Martin and Rosetta Cochran both of Stanford, and Julie Lowis of Taylorsville, IL; six brothers: John Harris, Eddie Harris and Alvin Harris all of Taylorsville, IL, Kirby Harris of Stringtown, IL, Jimmy Harris of Assumption, IL and Ralph Harris of Stanford; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Weldon and Bro. Larry Harris officiating. Pallbearers were nephews.

Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
