HARTLEY, Wilma Ruth Age 82 of Oxford, passed away at her residence on Thursday, May 8, 2014.

She was born in Estel County, KY on April 22, 1932 to Herbert and Mary (Greene) Stone. Wilma was employed at Miami University for 35 years. In her free time, she loved taking care of her animals.

She is survived by two children, William (Terrie) Blanton, Lou Canupp, along with several step children; two grandchildren, Paula (Jim Coffey) Basham, and Laura (John) Allison; five great-grandchildren, Jessie, Kevin, Colton, Callie, and Raechelle; six siblings, William Stone, Barbara Woosley, Joyce Cornelius, Paulette (Linden) Rader, Rebecca (Elva) Rose, and Richard (Mary) Stone; and also several extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hartley in 2004; her parents; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray and Thomas Stone.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 1PM with Brett Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 11AM - 1PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to SPCA. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
