Mary was a daughter of John and Elizabeth (STAUB) IMHOFF. According to her death certificate she died at 9 p.m. of what Dr. C. W. Voorus described as a valvular heart disease.

DIED - PTASCHINSKI - At the home of her daughter, 711 South Spring street, this city, Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1919, Mrs. Mary Imhoff Ptaschinski, aged 75 years, 2 months and 26 days, of dropsy of the heart.

Mary Imhoff was born at West Point, N.Y., July 26, 1844, and came with her parents to Wisconsin in 1854. In 1862 she was united in marriage to Adolph Ptaschinski in this city, where she has since resided. Twelve children were born to them, three dieing in infancy. The surviving children are: Arthur at home, John, Joseph, Frank, Mrs. Jacob Graff, Mrs. Anna Fischer and Mrs. Andrew Schweiger, all of this city; Mrs. Harry Sheldon of Janesville, and Mrs. W. L. Braun of Merrill; one brother and one sister, twenty-five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Women's Society of St. Peter's Catholic church, and was one of the early settlers here.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from St. Peter's church. Burial in St. Peter's cemetery, Rev. Fr. George J. Muenzer, officiating.
