ANNIVERSARY: Beaver Dam Daily Citizen, October 9, 1951.

In observance of their fiftieth wedding anniversary, yesterday, October 8, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schweiger, 709 South Spring Street, were feted at a dinner held at Hotel Rogers with friends and relatives in attendance. Earlier, Rev. J. G. Schliessman renewed the wedding blessing at a six-thirty high mass for the golden wedding celebrants.

Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schweiger, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schweiger, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Metz and children, Jacqueline, Christine and David Schweiger of Milwaukee; the Reverend Fathers J. G. Schliessman and C. A. Kleefisch and other friends and relatives in Beaver Dam.

Later in the afternoon, the honored couple left for Milwaukee where they will visit Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Schweiger.

Mrs. Andrew Schweiger, 95, nee Elizabeth Ptaschinski, formerly of 709 S. Spring St., passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, at Clearview in Juneau following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 17, at 10:30 a.m. from the Murray Funeral Home and at 11:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph S. Stier will officiate and interment will be in the parish cemetery.

She was born Nov. 12, 1877, to Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Ptaschinski in the Town of Beaver Dam. On Oct. 8, 1901, she married Andrew Schweiger.

Survivors include two grandsons; Donald Schweiger of Allenton and David of Waterford; one granddaughter, Mrs. Robert (Marcella) Metz of Ohio; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962; brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the Murray Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 on Sunday evening and on Monday until the time of the service. A parish vigil is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
