Mrs. Mary Ballweg, 46 years old, wife of Frank J. Ballweg, of this city, died of heart disease early this morning, following an operation at the St. John's Hospital in St. Louis Tuesday and was well on the road to recovery when stricken with the attack.
She was born in Center Grove, Ia., January 21, 1884 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry [Anna Evers] Kerkemeyer. She was united in marriage to Frank Ballweg of this city, Sept. 3, 1906 at Muskogee, Okla. Mrs. Ballweg was an active member of the Altar Society and the Daughters of Isabelle of the St. Boniface Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Boniface Catholic Church Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock. Fathers Eckard, Stolze and Kipping will conduct the services. A solemn requiem high mass will be held. Interment will be made in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jacob Gent, John Hess, Ray Campbell, Dennis Hentz, Ray Schrameck, August Kahtz.
