Margaret Virginia Springer, 72, of 150 Yordy Road, Apt. 104, Morton, formerly of Norwood, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1999, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Born Feb. 22, 1926, in Glasgow, Ky., to Willis Batt and Flora Jolly Bunch, she married William Lipscomb. He preceded her in death. She later married William Lee Springer on Feb. 3, 1956, in Pekin. He also preceded her in death, as did four sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Steven Lipscomb of Calico Rock, Ark., and William Springer of Morton; two daughters, Ginny Hierman and Leeann Bronson, both of Peoria; two brothers, Clifton Bunch and Horace Bunch, both of Texas; one sister, Addie Feezer of Peoria Heights; and two stepdaughters, Susie Birch of Murray, Utah, and Kris Henriod of Park City, Utah.

She was a licensed practical nurse at Galena Park Nursing Home in Peoria Heights for 15 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Peoria.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Second Baptist Church in Peoria. The Rev. Paul Maitland will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Cremation will be accorded. Wilton Mortuary in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
