PEORIA -- Clifton Wesley "Barney" Bunch, 80, of Winnsboro, Texas, formerly of Peoria, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999, in Winnsboro.
Born Aug. 18, 1919, in Glasgow, Ky., to Willis and Flora Jolly Bunch, he married Doris Robbins on July 26, 1941. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Debra Bunch of Winnsboro and Darlene Hudson of Speer; two sons, Jerry and Kevin, both of Winnsboro; one brother, Willard of Winnsboro; one sister, Addie Feezer of Peoria Heights; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael, on May 4, 1976, and four sisters.
He was a World War II Army veteran with rank of sergeant.
He worked at Pabst Brewery in Peoria Heights before retiring.
He was a member and deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church in Winnsboro.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, Texas. Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro is in charge of arrangements.
