The many friends of Mr.s and Mrs. Leigh Morden were shocked and saddened when the message arrived Thursday, August 20th, of the passing of Mrs. Morden in their home at East Lansing, Michigan
Mrs. Morden, formerly, Miss Sadie Bunnell was born in Wisconsin and came to Deckerville with her parents when a small child and passed the greater portion of her life here. She attended the D & D school and later was a very pleasing and capable clerk in the George B. Forrester store.
She was united in marriage to Leigh E. Morden, June 3, 1905. To them were born two children, Ardis and Katherine. Ardis is a graduate of Deckerville high school.
For many years. Mr. Morden was in company with M. M. Forrester in the Forrester and Morden general store. During all of these years Mrs. Morden was an active participant in community affairs. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and Dorcas society and a much loved member of the Hypatian Club in which she held office.
