After the death of her husband, Margaret moved to Texas (1880 Federal Census - lines 6-8, items 2-2, page 1) with her son and wife, Daniel Boone Hamilton and Lee Annie McCurdy-Hamilton. They were living in close proximity to two other daughters and her brother. Taken from the 1880 Federal Census, they were as follows:

Thereafter she was found living with her daughter, Elizabeth and 2nd husband Charles Boyd. She was rostered in the 1900 and 1910 Federal Census and not found thereafter. The whereabouts of her grave are unknown and hence this virtual memorial.
