Susan TISDELL Wood was the wife of Daniel Bright Wood. The couple had five children: Arlington Tisdell Wood, Richard Bright Wood, Minnie May Wood and Ralph Alivn Wood, and a child that died as an infant. She was born in New York shortle after her parents Richard B Tisdell and Sarah ALLMAN Tisdell and her sibling emigrated from Kent, England to Deerpark/Port Jervis, NY. After marring Ralph Wood, a railroad conductor, they moved to Pennsylvania and then onto Labett, Kansas. Around 1900 she moved to Eureka Springs to live with her sister Elizabeth "Libby" TISDELL Lewis. Susan, Libby are buried besides each other in a country cemetery on Charlie Williams farm 7 miles from Eureka Springs, which is now known as Williams Hollow Cemetery. She and Libby may be buried at 2 of the the 3 grave sites with unmarked stones.
