Edwin A. Mantik, Merrill, died April 4, 1972 in a Merrill Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were held April 6 in Taylor Funeral Home, Merrill.

Mr. Mantik was born in Athens, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mantik. He was married August 19, 1939 in Gleason to Martha Siewert, who survives. He was a farmer and school bus driver for over 20 years. Mr. Mantik lived in Gleason from 1946 to 1964, and in Merrill for the past eight years.

Survivors, besides his wife, include two daughters, Sandra, at home, and Sharon, Albuquerque, N.M.; two sons, Dr. David, Flint, Michigan, and Donald, Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Fred, Wausau, Reuben, Abbotsford, and Enos, Ripon; and two sisters, Mrs. Esther Paulson, Wausau and Mrs. Evelyn Ostertag, North Branch, Minnesota.
