Enos Werner Mantik, 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019, at Prairie Place in Ripon.

Enos was born July 24, 1928, on his family's farm near Milan, WI, the son of Michael and Elise (Abitz) Mantik. He attended Milan Country School.

On August 30, 1947, Enos married his sweetheart, Evelyn Dorothy Feder, in Berlin, WI. For the first eleven years of marriage, Enos and Evelyn farmed near Milan. They then moved to Green Lake and continued to dairy farm until retirement.

Enos also worked as a surveyor for the F.S.A. office in Princeton. He served as a committeeman for the Town of Brooklyn as well as the town board.

He loved farming, watching crops grow and traveling. He was an active member of Hillside Assembly of God in Ripon. Throughout his life, serving the Lord was his priority. He served on the church board, was a Sunday School teacher, and a Sunday School Superintendent. Enos enjoyed playing in the church orchestra. Enos was also faithful in helping all the people he could. He would send Evangels and Christian literature to prisons and give offerings to orphanages around the world.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Evelyn Mantik, of Ripon; his four daughters, Betty Ann (Garret) Peschke of Ripon, Judith Mantik of Ripon, Jane Mantik of Green Lake, and Laura (Richard) Stobb of Green Lake; four grandchildren, Jackie (Jared) Wingers of Marinette, Brian (Diana) Peschke of St. Joseph, MI, Rachelle (Scott) Krahenbuhl of Menasha, and Danielle (special friend, Anthony) Stobb of Milwaukee; three great-grandchildren, Levi and Zach Wingers of Marinette, and Evan Peschke of St. Joseph, MI; sister-in-law, Elaine Olson of Fond du Lac; brother-in-law, Gordon Minch of Ripon, and many nieces and nephews.

Enos was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elise Mantik; brothers, Edwin, Fred, Rueben and Herbert and sisters, Esther and Evelyn.

Visitation for Enos will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Assembly of God, 656 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Enos will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Assembly of God with Reverend Erik Boulier officiating. Interment will follow at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn. A memorial is being established in his name.
