Mrs. Charlotte "Sherri" Rapozo, 64, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, October 3, 2014 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the daughter of the late Al and Betty Ann Ross Lopez, and was also preceded in death by her first huband, Joseph Mailhiot, and her second husband, James Rapozo. She was a native of Washington, DC, and was a foster mother to over 63 children in California and Vermont. Sherri had roles in "Silk Stockings", "Renegade", and "Last of the Mohicans".
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Greene and her husband Charles Jr., of Rutherfordton; a stepdaughter, Shelly Bedoe of San Diego, CA; a stepson, Jimmy Rapozo of San Diego, CA; a brother, Daniel Andrews of Marlboro, CT; two sisters, Tena Lopez of Pensacola, FL, and Joan Marie Briggs of Rutland, VT; there are six grandchildren, Sherrita Sparks, Domonique Ellie, Michael Elswick, Brittany Bedoe, Sierra Bedoe, and Ralph Bedoe; there are three great grandchildren, Brody Bedoe, Jacob Silcox, and Ellie Quinn.
There will be no formal services for Mrs. Rapozo.
