mid 1820s - Jonathan Delong came from Berks County, Pennsylvania to Manhattan, New York.*

1927 - Jonathan married Eliza Kislier on May 20, 1827.

1828-29 - Settled in Manhattan, NY in "his mid-20s" *, a tailor. The "Penna. German" for Oct. 1903 erroneously says he settled in Mass; that was his son George.

1930 - he was a tailor at 11 Anthony Street, Manhattan*; he lived at a half dozen address on the lower east side of Manhattan (during 1820s-1830s).*

1832 - was President of The Journeymen Tailors of New York.*

1835 - was a tailor, Manhattan.*

1836 - was indicted for conspiracy and riot, fined $50.*

1837 - Death of Eliza.

1838 - Jonathan married Eliza Hunt on July 3, 1838.

1848 - He died Feb 28, 1848, bur. Greenwood(sic sp) Cem. Brooklyn.

1873 - 2nd wife died Jan 6, 1873 in NY City, bur. Fishkill, NY.
