Mrs. Laura Taylor Underwood, age 72, of 2035 Irwinton Road, widow of the late Mr. William O. Underwood, passed away late Tuesday afternoon, June 29, in a local hospital after an extended illness.
She was a native of Wilkinson County, a daughter of the late Mr. William Taylor and the late Mrs. Tabitha Bloodworth Taylor; and a member of the Scottsboro Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Mills of Augusta; one son, Mr. William O. Underwood of Milledgeville; two grandchildren and two nephews.
