Victoria -- Magdalene Wasinger, 84, died Thursday night at St. John’s Rest Home, Victoria.

She was born Oct. 3, 1888 in Victoria and lived in Victoria and Walker all of her life.

Her husband, John, died in 1925.

She was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Amelia) Von Lintel, Victoria, Mrs. P. J. (Sophie) Windholz, Wichita, Mrs. Pauline Brungardt, Wichita; one son, Al J. Wasinger, Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Leiker and Mrs. Catherine Billinger, both of Victoria; two brothers, Alex Sander, Hays, John Sander, Schoenchen; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Fidelis Church with burial in the cemetery. A parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at Clines. Friends may call at Cline’s after 3 p.m. Saturday.
