Martha married Edward HARRISON on 1 January 1860 in Schuyler Co., MO, and may have married Elisha DeWITT on 29 December 1861. In the 1860 census for Schuyler Co., MO, Martha and Edward are living with her mother Mary, who is married to Edward's father John HARRISON. By the 1870 census for Van Buren Co., IA, she, as Martha BLANKENSHIP, and her two children are living with her mother and step-father/father-in-law. Her marriage to BLANKENSHIP still hasn't been found, but it produced a daughter, Sarah, born about 1864, who died before 1900, and a son, John R., 1870 - 1930. Martha married Sardis SMITH on 1 April 1875 in Hancock Co., IL, and they had sons, Albert J. "Jack", born 1882, and Isaac Otis, born 1886. After Sardis died in 1891, Martha married Joseph RICHARDSON on 24 Nov 1892, Davis Co., IA.
