Father of Phil Brubaker Dies Following Stroke
Dinuba (Tulare Co.) Feb 27,-
Henry Brubaker, 71, father of Phil Brubaker, heavyweight boxer died at his ranch home, one mile northeast of this city. yesterday afternoon following a stroke he suffered on Wednesday. Brubaker was born in Ohio and had lived in California fifty-three years and in this community for the past thirty - three years.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marion Brubaker; three sons, Charlie and Philip of Dinuba, Douglas of Clifton, Ariz; two daughters, Adele of Dinuba and Lucille of San Francisco.
Funeral services will be held in Dopkins Chapel on Monday at 10 A.M. with Rev. Edwin Carter of the Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Smith Mountain Cemetery.
