Ruth Catherine Schooley, 91, Harrisonville, Pa., died Wednesday, October 22, 1986 in the Fulton County Medical Center.
Born in Licking Creek Township, Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Sara Laidig Foreman.
Her first husband, Silas D. Mellott and second husband, Cadiz W. Schooley, preceded her in death.
She was a member of Sideling Hill Baptist Church of Needmore and the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Fairview United Methodist Church in Harrisonville.
She is survived by one daughter, Reba Edwards of Mechanicsburg; two sons, Carl B. Mellott of McConnellsburg and Marlin Clair Mellott of Hanover; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25 at the Howard Sipes Funeral Home in Harrisonville, The Rev. Donald Bard officiated. Burial was made in Sideling Hill Baptist Cemetery.
